Teresa G. Perkins, Ed.D., is a leadership professor, writer/researcher, on-site consultant, and longtime educator passionate about creating equity-centered communities of belonging and hope. Teresa’s focus on reflection, continuous improvement, and courageous systems fuels her leadership. Her first book, Creating Equity-Centered Communities: Belonging, Bold Hope and You (Bloomsbury Publishing), is available now!

Dr. Perkins currently serves as Assistant Professor and Graduate Program Chair of Educational Leadership at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, and a leadership consultant.

Teresa shares her research at regional and national conferences. She is a leadership coach, collaborating with community organizations.

Perkins earned both a B.S. and Ed.D. from University of Nebraska–Lincoln and a M.Ed. from Doane University.
