Formally, this book represents two years of my intentional research and writing, as I gathered data from educational and community leaders from across the United States.

Informally, this book represents my first step forward as an author and researcher who encourages each of us to peel back the layers of our lived experiences, celebrate where we are today, and the magnitude of potential possible when we lean in to the power of belonging and bold hope.
